God's Way Is The Best Way
Proverbs 2:8 says, “He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.”

God wants “the way of His saints” to be preserved, because it’s His way. He directs our steps (Prov 16:9), towards the safe pathway where “the unclean shall not pass over it” (Isa 35:8). As we journey through this life, God promises the “fulness of joy” (Ps 16:11), in His presence! Although we may not always understand the reasons behind some trials, obstacles, and persecutions that we encounter (Job 11:7), or even the difficult situations that He places in front of us (Rom 11:33), we can rest assured that God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isa 55:9).
And understanding this would provide us comfort and calm assurance in the midst of every uncertainty that we may face (Ps 25:5). When we fully “trust in the Lord” (Prov 3:5), we will realize that He has a perfect plan for us (Jer 29:11), even though we may not see the big picture! God “keepeth the paths of judgment,” or He protects those that are obediently following His way. He sets apart the people that are “godly for Himself” (Ps 4:3), by delivering us “from the way of the evil man” (v. 12). He does this so that we may “walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous” (v. 20). In reality, we all have a choice and we sometimes struggle on “how to perform that which is good” (Rom 7:18).
Sadly, there are some young people who grew up in good bible-believing churches that view God’s way as being too restrictive or confining. When they get exposed and enticed by some worldly friends (1 Cor 15:33), they are influenced to walk “in the way of sinners” (Ps 1:1). They reject “the way of life” (Prov 6:23), because they don’t like being corrected (Ps 38:14), or being told what to do! But if we want to make it through this life without being detracted by ungodly ways, then we need to humbly follow God’s instructions (Prov 12:1). Because His way is always the best way! God bless you!
