God Knows All Our Needs
Luke 12:31 says, “But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

When lost sinners receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour by faith (Rom 4:16), they are “born again” (Jn 3:7), into the family of God (Jn 1:12), and are now “called the sons of God” (1 Jn 3:1). We are safely secured in the Saviour’s hand (Jn 10:28), in the “Father’s hand” (Jn 10:29), and we are also “sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Eph 1:13) – that’s triple security! Not only are we “kept by the power of God” (1 Pet 1:5), but He also knows all our needs (v. 30), and He is able to meet them when we seek first His kingdom!
As parents, we sometimes don’t know exactly what our children’s needs are. But we have the blessed truth that our Heavenly Father always knows (Php 4:19), and He also knows what’s best for us (Prov 19:21). God is fully aware of every pathway that we take (Job 23:10), and He always has a plan and purpose for us (Rom 8:28). God also knows all about our trials and troubles! He has the power to take care of all our needs. Because it is “the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (v. 32).
The word “kingdom” pertains to the power of the ruling One – He promised to meet every need by saying, “all these things shall be added unto you.” Sadly, many people doubt God’s ability to take care of His children (Jms 1:6). However, we have the same all powerful living God Who spoke the universe into existence (Ps 33:6); He kept Noah and his families safe in the ark (2 Pet 2:5); He provided for Elijah (1 Ki 17:6); He protected the 3 Hebrew teens in the fiery furnace (Dan 3:26); He fed Israel with manna (Ex 16:15), and water from the rock (Num 20:8); and countless other miracles recorded in the Bible. That same “God is able” (2 Cor 9:8), to take care of us today (Heb 13:8). Because He never fails! God bless you!
